Excellent Called in here 22nd July, warm and friendly reception, dog friendly venue. Food was excellent, as was the service. Highly recommend, we will be back and try the camping facilities next time.

Great for Girlies Get together ❤️ Girls meet up for a birthday evening meal. None of us had been before, and we loved the ambience of the place. Beautifully decorated and comfortably furnished throughout. We sat in the back area which is light and airy, with lovely views towards the fells. Tom looked after us extremely well, and there was a lovely, relaxed feel. The food was tasty, well presented and arrived hot and all together for our group of 5. Nothing overly fancy, just honest pub grub. We will definitely return and hopefully it will be warm enough to use the beer garden.

Lovely food in a lovely plaice. We had a Birthday lunch. This is a smashing place to eat. It is clean and has a friendly atmosphere and the staff are great. The food was not too outlandish so we could choose from a varied menu. We will be going again. It's the nicest restaurant near Cockermouth.

Well worth a visit! We sat out in the very well kept, neat and tidy beer garden. Friendly staff. Beautiful meal. Couldn’t fault the whole experience. We’d certainly recommend it and we look forward to returning.

If near Maryport its a must I know i say hidden gem alot but this is,from ease of booking to being greeted in a friendly manner, to dog friendly to the portions of food is excellent ,also quality being a community run business makes sure eveything is kept to the same standards

Outstanding food and service Extremely enjoyable time, thank you. Everything was perfect and could fault nothing. The service, food, premises were excellent and we can't wait to go back. It really was lovely and we wish we had known about the Lowther Arms sooner.

Amazing pub food! We dined here multiple times during our recent holiday. The staff were so lovely and friendly and the food was amazing. The portions are huge and delicious!! Very good value for money. Lovely atmosphere too. Quiz night was great fun.

Wonderful meal We went for a family meal and had a lovely warm welcome. The venue was lovely and clean and had fresh flowers on the tables. The menu’s had a good variety and seemed good value…until you see the portion sizes and then the value for money is unbelievable. The food was clearly cooked to order and of really great quality. We will definitely return, it’s just a shame it’s a 5 hour drive! For the summer there was a nice outside seated area. Absolutely lovely evening. Thank you!
